Basic guidelines for stocking Carlingdale patterns on shelves are as follows from top to bottom:
- Cushions top 2 shelves depending on configuration
- Pillowshams next 1 – 2 shelves depending on configuration
- Twin & Double duvet covers 1 shelf
- Queen duvet covers 1 shelf
- King & superking duvet covers 1 shelf
- bedskirts bottom shelf
Goods should be front faced to show the pattern. Front face insert with larger photo of the pattern. Queen size hanging samples pressed and neatly folded. Clean folded edge always towards store front. Spring Summer display samples from light to dark, Fall and Winter from dark to light. Signage consistent at eye level. “Featured on display bed” sign hung where display duvet cover would normally hang if currently on display bed. Always replenish empty shelves with other co-ordinating product. i.e. move Queen duvet covers to D/T spot if sold out. Shelving should always appear full.
